Consistently seeking acquisition opportunities with an opportunity to add value, the Frontier team identified and acquired a prime location in Westminster’s busy Civic Center. The parcel included the Westminster Manor Banquet Hall and two banks – Wells Fargo and Chase. Frontier first worked with the banks to restructure their leases. The team then worked with the City of Westminster to redevelop the Banquet Hall asset in a way that would honor the architectural history of the site, and remain in keeping with the Tudor/Old English style of the previous buildings and the adjacent Keystone Square. Leveraging the property’s premier location at Beach Boulevard and Westminster Boulevard (at one of the city’s busiest intersections), Frontier attracted Starbucks to the project for a drive-thru cafe. The result is attractive new construction that meets the City’s wishes for architectural continuity and history as well as Starbucks’ iconic brand standards. The new Starbucks location spans 2,200 square feet and opened in January 2019.
