Three new restaurants will make their way to North Long Beach as part of the forthcoming Uptown Commons shopping center.
Frontier Real Estate Investments announced Monday, July 22, that customers can expect to find hot chicken, ramen and Asian fusion options at the development when it opens early next year at the northeast corner of Atlantic Avenue and Artesia Boulevard.
Main Chick, a night market pop-up known for its Nashville-style hot chicken, will open its second permanent location — a shipping container post in a shared patio — in the new development, after its first opens in Pasadena next month.
Uptown Commons will also be home to the second location of the ramen bar Shomi Noods, which will offer sit-down service. The joint’s original location is in Chino.
