Tom Carpenter Vice President of Acquisitions
Tom Carpenter began his real estate career with Grubb and Ellis in 2006 as a broker in the firm’s retail division. During his time there and later at CBRE, he was involved in all aspects of the real estate cycle, including ground-up development, repositioning of older centers, leasing, and investment sales. As a trusted agent and consultant to large shopping center owners and tenants, Tom built his listing portfolio to more than three million square feet. In addition, he helped many national and regional tenants expand their footprint in the Southern California marketplace through comprehensive strategic planning, site identification and evaluation, and lease negotiations. With the success that he had in site identification and the strong reputation he had built with tenants, landlords, and the brokerage community, Tom joined Frontier to direct its acquisitions and leasing department.

Gavin Reid Senior Director of Acquisitions
Frontier’s Director of Acquisitions Gavin Reid is charged with site selection, land acquisition and entitlements for many of the firm’s national tenants. Prior to joining Frontier, Gavin worked at Westar Associates, where he was involved in anchor and shop leasing for the company’s neighborhood and regional shopping centers in Southern California. He also played a key role in planning and strategic marketing efforts for Westar’s future development projects. Gavin attended the University of Southern California for both undergraduate and graduate studies, where he was captain of the golf team. He has a Bachelor of Science in Policy, Planning & Development and a Masters in Real Estate Development. He is an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers.

Alex Osinski Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager at Frontier, Alex Osinski manages the company’s key development projects, ensuring that they run smoothly from initiation to closure. In this role, Alex coordinates all aspects of the entitlement, design and permitting processes, as well as purchase and sale escrows, due diligence, leasing, title, environmental and legal considerations. With a proven track record for delivering assets on time and on budget, Alex has played an integral role in the growth of Frontier and has been instrumental in the development of the company’s practices and procedures. He is a graduate of the University of California Santa Cruz, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Digital Media with a concentration in Critical Studies.

Jeff Ottman Director of Brokerage Services
Jeff Ottman leverages his vast expertise in site selection, business development, and his proven track record in the acquisition, repositioning, leasing, and sales of commercial properties in his role as Director of Brokerage Services for Frontier. Prior to joining the accomplished team at Frontier, Jeff worked closely with the real estate directors of many major oil companies, in his tenure at Insite Research. While there, he was responsible for site selection and acquisition of more than 3,000 locations throughout the Western United States, Canada and Mexico for ARCO AM/PM. Jeff also has helped to spearhead site acquisition for other national companies including Rite Aid, Dunkin Donuts, Panda Express, JP Morgan Chase, and CVS Pharmacies.

Hunter Lassos Leasing Representative
Hunter Lassos is the Leasing Representative for Frontier’s portfolio of projects. He plays an indispensable roll of identifying and securing tenants. Hunter has experience in a variety of positions focusing on sales, community events and business relationship management. He is responsible for creating lasting partnerships with national and regional tenants for Frontier’s projects across California. Hunter graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Jenny Amaral Marketing Director
Jenny Amaral is an essential member of Frontier’s development activities, as well as the office manager for Frontier’s Newport Beach location. She plays a multifaceted role ranging from the preparation of complex market reports for prospective tenants to the production of Frontier’s marketing materials. She assists in maintaining and fostering client relationships and coordinates all of Frontier’s events. Jenny graduated from Pepperdine University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Spanish and Graphic Design.

Mary Carnes Director of Human Resources
Mary Carnes serves as Frontier and DSMGMT’s Director of Human Resources, and is responsible for the day-to-day HR and payroll needs for all employees of the company’s Dunkin’ Donuts and Frontier locations. Mary also is responsible for the implementation and development of employment-related policies and procedures and employee benefits for both companies. She brings more than 20 years of operations management and real estate investment banking experience to Frontier. Mary began her career at Marcus & Millichap in 1995 as the firm’s Long Beach office manager. She was quickly promoted to the position of division office manager to spearhead the education and development of Marcus & Millichap’s office managers across Southern California and throughout the Western United States.

Matt Ikemoto Controller
As Controller for Frontier, Matt Ikemoto has been instrumental in the establishment and management of the accounting policies, procedures, and controls of the company. In this role, Matt oversees all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems, assists in budgeting and planning processes, and is responsible for guiding the financial decisions of the company through the production of financial reports and analysis. Matt graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
